META

meet the climate influencers

Meta is investing in the future of our planet. To tell the story of their climate projects and the release of their Sustainability Report Meta came to us to engage Gen Z climate influencers and create a high visibility IG campaign and IRL gathering during Climate Week NYC.

Using the report as a jumping-off point, we got to work producing fun and totally original reels. Following extensive research, we met key players in the space and cast multiple young thought leaders to take part in the initiative. The end result? A suite of visual stories that amplify Meta’s sustainability efforts in culturally resonant ways, and shared with the world by leveraging a substantial paid media budget. Check out a few of our collaborations with @browngirl_green @wildgina and @itsthegarbagequeen.

At the same time, we created a suite of in-house reels to support the report launch. work x work led the production of these reels from scripting, to storyboards, all the way through execution.

The project wrapped out in style with a party to celebrate 100+ of the biggest sustainability influencers at NYC Climate Week for sunset cocktails and friendly networking. work x work curated the guest list and produced the soirée as a chance for young sustainability leaders to connect as a community, all while positioning Meta as a leader in the sustainability content space.

MEET THE CLIMATE CHANGERS

We called our inaugural group of creators “the climate changers.” This group included photographer Gina Danza @wildgina, climate activist and educator Kristy Drutman @browngirl_green, and climate communicator and scientist Alaina Wood @itsthegarbagequeen, all young leaders in the sustainability space. Each of them brought their unique point-of-view to the reels they created, whether they were amplifying Meta’s water positive goal, talking about the importance of sustainably-operated data centers, or using the 2021 Sustainability Report as a model and educational tool to teach more broadly about corporate accountability.
