CONTENT PRODUCTION |  DESIGN & CREATIVE  |  CAMPAIGN

Meta (then Facebook) approached work x work to develop and produce an audio content campaign that would educate listeners about Meta’s sustainability initiatives, champion the role of corporations at scale within the climate space, and position Meta as a leader of sustainable business practices.

To do this, work x work needed to develop an authentic and approachable voice for the audio series. We developed Climate Talks, a series that explores the climate crisis through personal connection and intimate conversation. Each episode presented interwoven stories from our host, as well as interviews with Meta employees, leading voices in the climate space, and our listeners, exploring topics like water stewardship and emissions reduction.

work x work led the creative direction on the series after a period of in-depth research and strategy. We booked the show’s guests, and cast Sophia Li, a young journalist and leading climate activist, to host the series.

REDEFINING OUR FOOTPRINT

For the show art, we wanted to illustrate the human impact in the environment without resting on negative cliches. The word ‘footprint’ is commonly associated with a ‘carbon footprint,’ or a negative environmental impact, in the climate space. We challenged listeners to wonder: what can humanity do to have a net positive impact on nature?
