festival producer: On Air Fest '21

We seek a highly experienced event producer with expertise in virtual event production to help project manage and execute On Air Fest, April 8-10, 2021.

Coming into our fifth year, On Air Fest brings together leading creators who are defining the new culture of audio. Called "an incredible explosion of artists and creators sharing their vision" On Air Fest showcases intimate conversations, magical performances, installations, listening parties and live podcasts. On Air Fest carves a place for artists and storytellers who are defining this moment in audio, and in this year of separation, we will use our platform to inspire new ways of listening together.

Our ideal candidate is a well-versed event producer with a passion for On Air Fest’s mission and interest in the audio storytelling community. The Producer is a self-starter who is systematic, detail-oriented and results-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple competing duties. This position is best suited for someone who loves building relationships and has experience working with talent of diverse backgrounds. Most of all, we seek a creative collaborator who will bring fresh ideas, their unique perspective, drive, and expertise to our team.

This position is a 8 week full time contract with possibility for expanded work together on other work x work agency projects and events. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
Be part of a highly collaborative, low-ego team of multi-disciplinary thinkers
Develop and execute planning and production timelines
Assess technical needs, make recommendations and hire vendors to fulfill the needs of multi-faceted virtual event
Contract and manage any necessary volunteers, videographers, technical assistants, etc.
Oversee management of ticketing. Regularly report attendance numbers to the team.
Assist in the development of productive relationships with festival partners
Support in talent and artist management
Collaborate on communications, marketing, and audience development initiatives
Ability to expertly manage time and prioritize tasks
Experience with organizing media assets and post-production workflows
This position also includes potential curatorial involvement in festival programming

Requirements:
Demonstrable live and virtual event production experience
Familiarity with the audio landscape
Strong understanding of digital management and workflows
Fluency in G-Suite
Experience in creating systems and work-plans to achieve core objectives
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage diverse personalities and production styles in a fast-paced environment

social media editor (freelance)

work x work seeks an experienced social media manger for agency projects with a special focus on On Air Fest. The ideal candidate is a digital native with a strong track record for engaging audiences online, excellent copywriting skills, a keen visual eye and has a finger on the pulse of cultural trends.

This position will kick off with amplifying On Air Fest 2021 leading up to the event (April 8-10), including strategy, creating cross-platform content, audience growth and engagement as well as working in concert with our PR and production teams to drive festival coverage.

Other projects include ideation and execution for our clients in media, lifestyle & tech as well as marketing communications and social branding for our agency.

Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day social media content and engagement
Ideate new campaigns, promotions, and themes
Create and schedule social media content calendars
Execute organic and paid campaigns (Twitter, Insta, LinkedIn, etc.)
Produce and/or manage the production of content
Ability to communicate uniquely for different brands
Monitor and report analytics
Weekly reporting
Create and manage promotions/contests
Monitor and keep the rest of our team apprised of important social media marketing developments and innovations

Requirements:
1-3 years experience in content creation, social media or related field
Digital agency or in-house agency/media experience preferred
Fluency in all major social media platforms
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills
Availability to work on and off-site
Keen attention to detail
A demonstrable interest in podcasts, cultural movements, music and fine art

We seek a motivated intern ready to build their real world event production, strategy and digital communication skills. This multifaceted internship will provide opportunities to contribute research and ideas to On Air Fest while being exposed to the daily operations of a creative agency.

The ideal intern is a digital native who is immersed in the world of audio storytelling, music & culture. You relish the opportunity to talk about your favorite podcasts, and your friends come to you for recommendations on the best new music to listen to. You have a tremendous appetite and curiosity for a range of cultural events around the city, and are always seeking out fresh artists, venues and experiences to satiate it. You navigate file management systems (Google Suite, Dropbox) with ease and are a confident communicator.

Our team is collaborative, ambitious and hands on, so you will have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of agency operations.

Responsibilities
Attend team creative and strategy meetings
Copywriting and editing
Alongside Senior Producer, maintain contact lists, worksheets, database entries and timelines for client projects and festivals
Pitch content for agency and festival social media platforms
Assist team in developing collateral for outreach initiatives
Research events & cultural landscape
Research consumer and media trends
Brainstorm and pitch session concepts for On Air Fest
Research unique and unexpected guests talent from the worlds of podcasting, radio, music and audio art

Qualifications
Familiarity with music/art/culture and podcasts
Highly motivated, strong work ethic
Organizational finesse
Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and graphic design a strong plus

senior graphic designer (part time)

work x work seeks an experienced Graphic Designer for part time or freelance work on an ongoing basis. Must have a clean design aesthetic with a keen interest in branding, digital and experiential. Projects range from creating identity systems, to multi-platform campaigns, livestream events and marketing collateral in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver and communicator with the ability to generate big ideas and execute them through production. NYC-based preferred, work will be remote.

Requirements:
4-6 years in branding, advertising, or related field
Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud as well as the G Suite and Power Point
Exceptional design and branding work in portfolio
Keen attention to detail
Excellent typographical skills
Exceptional organizational & communication skills
A demonstrable interest in podcasts, cultural movements, music and fine art

Special interest given to candidates who:
Have copywriting skills
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
